“ The lobster roll is definitely worth recommending. The texture is very refreshing, and the accompanying bread is very fluffy. The mussels are also of good quality, fresh and plump. You can tell that the owner has put a lot of care into the restaurant's decor; many details are interesting. The service is also good. I would definitely bring my family back to try it again. ”
“ I love this place, I've been coming here for years and the quality and consistency of the food is always impressive. The seafood chowder is to die for, more often than not, sea food chowders are filled with a frozen seafood mix, but at Jakes, they use huge chunks of fresh seafood mixed into a delicious chowder. Its a starter, but you could easily have it as a light lunch. I also ordered the fish tacos which had a huge chunk of fish inside of it and was wonderful. The best item for me on this visit was the seafood omelette, filled with huge pieces of fresh seafood, I'll be ordering this again. The service is top notch as is the warm and inviting atmosphere. ”

Perfectly marinated, cooked just right, and every bite was next-level tender and flavorful. You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving since the chef was there to check out everything himself! [we went on the weekend which was quite crowded] The veggies and sides were just as good. Super fresh, super tasty, not just some afterthought on the plate. And pleaseeeeee do yourself a favor and save room for dessert because their hot chocolate souffle is out of this world. Like, actual melt-in-your-mouth, can’t-stop-eating-it kind of dessert. It’s 100% a must-order. The whole interior vibe of Jake’s is chill and cozy but still feels a bit special. Definitely one of those spots you leave already planning your next visit. ”
“ Wow, just wow. This has got to be one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve ever been to. Went with my girlfriend yesterday for dinner and we were completely floored with this place. Met and exceeded expectations in every category! 10/10 food, service, ambiance, everything! I forgot to get our servers name but she was truly great! Food came out very quickly and the flavours... WOW like no words to describe how much we loved every dish we got. We ordered the escargot, the mussels, shrimp tacos, and oysters and they all were amazing!!! If you like mussels you will be in heaven here. We opted for the spicy marinara sauce and it was SO tasty, mussels themselves were also huge! The oysters were also amazing, very fresh and super tasty! But really though everything hit the mark and more for us. Cannot wait to return! You guys better never close down because you have earned two customers for life! ”
